Bunker Level Monitoring & Alarm System is installed in Cargo Control Room and perform continuous Level Monitoring & Alarm of Fuel Oil & Diesel Oil Tanks (including Storage, Settling & Service Tanks).
Tank Level measuring devices MUST be available for all Cargo Tanks, Slop Tanks and Bunker Tanks (including storage, service and settling tanks). Automatic (fixed) tank gauges are Strongly Preferred. Where automatic tank gauges are fitted, these MUST have remote readings in the CCR.
Automatic Fixed Tank Gauges, Tank Level Measuring Devices and Independent High-Level Alarms MUST be installed in all Cargo, Slop and Bunker Tanks (including storage, service and settling tanks) with Remote readout and alarms in the CCR.
